Meet your New Bern candidates ahead of Election Day Oct. 7

Voters in New Bern will decide who will be the city's Mayor and Board of Aldermen. They will also vote 'yes' or 'no' on a bond referendum. Election day is Tuesday, October 7th. You must vote at your assigned precinct, based on your residential address, to receive your correct ballot. Polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

A quick way to know whether or not you live in a voting location, check your street sign. If your sign is blue, then you're in an area to vote. If it's green, you cannot vote in this year's election in Craven County.

New Bern voters will approve or deny three different funding projects totaling $24 million dollars. The projects will appear in three separate questions on the ballot. One each for:

- Streets & Sidewalks
- Parks & Recreation
- Stormwater
