Fayetteville voters select mayor, city council candidates for November general election
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The polls are closed and the votes counted in Fayetteville’s 2025 primary election.
Voters selected candidates for mayor and city council seats, setting the stage for the November general election.
The mayoral race results indicate which candidates will vie for the seat in next month’s voting.
Incumbent Mayor Mitch Colvin emerged as the clear front-runner, collecting 48% of votes (6,754 total).
