Swansboro, Richlands races on election ballot

The towns of Swansboro and Richlands each have mayoral and town board races on the ballot in the November municipal election, though several of the races are uncontested.

In Swansboro, Mayor William "Bill" Justice is running uncontested for reelection.

As for the Swansboro Board of Commissioners, though, there are three open seats that are contested.

Incumbents Pat Turner, Jeffrey Conaway and Joe Brown are running for reelection to their seats and are being challenged in the race by newcomers Tim Vannoy and Wayne Herbert.
