Hard to believe this
OKLAHOMA CITY - A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows a close race between Oklahoma gubernatorial candidates Marry Fallin and Joe Dorman.
During a statewide telephone survey of likely Oklahoma voters they found Fallin with 45% support to Democratic state Representative Joe Dormans 40%. Seven percent favor some other candidates, while eight percent are undecided.
The poll also showed that Fallin has the support of 64% of Oklahoma Republicans, while 70% of the states Democrats favor Dorman. Fallin leads by seven points among voters not affiliated with either major party.
This is Rasmussen Reports first poll of the Oklahoma gubernatorial race.

(12,723 posts)Obvious republican slant but I waded through and picked the D in every choice and said healthcare was the number one issue instead of second amendment rights or pro life or the other RW bullshit they tried to push.

(29,324 posts)I remembered the cockfighting issue kicking up the turnout, and I remember Steve Largent running a pretty lackluster campaign ... and dropping the "bullshit" bomb in response to reporter's questions about his 9/11 reminiscing.
Quite a confluence of events back in 2002 -- but what a great feeling that was.
