Noose Display Along Okla. Highway Shocks Drivers

A controversial warning that included three nooses put up on private property along Highway 75 in Oklahoma was taken down after social media began to take notice of the display, NewsOn6 reports.

According to the report, the nooses, which were hung on a tree, accompanied a sign that read, “It’s best not to be hanging around this area after dark.”

Drivers, according to KJRH, were not impressed.

“It bothers me. It’s humiliating,” said driver Dennis Varner. “It’s discrimination, and America shouldn’t put up with it.”
