I certainly would be interested in that. I am just not sure I could make the money needed to support our little alternative family.

and keep in mind that it doesn't sound like your mother needs to be in a 'nursing home' at the moment; rather, an assisted living facility, which might also have 'nursing home' attributes, so she can move there when necessary.

(My folks went through this, so I'm slightly familiar.)

It's the confusion that is the biggest issue. She also has some continence problems. I know she could get by with some equipment at home and someone coming in to help several times a week.
