The GOP has filed a lawsuit against the State of Rhode Island

trying to change the provision on mail-in ballots that no longer requires Witness or Notary signatures on returned ballots. This requirement was dropped by the State due to COVID ramifications and for the protection of RI voters.

Sec. of State Nellie Gorbea says ballots are currently being printed without space for these additional signatures, and apparently plans on continuing with the process.

As Rachel might say..."Watch this space."
