Rogers ISD proposes bond election for district improvements

ROGERS, Texas — The Rogers ISD Board of Trustees has voted to place two propositions on the ballot for the May election, the district has announced.

Rogers ISD said the $31.715 million bond will fund improvements and safety features including new academic spaces, a band hall with support rooms, a secure vestibule at Rogers Middle School, a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon for safe crossing of FM-437 and other districtwide upgrades like HVAC units, fine arts equipment and improvements to athletic facilities.

Rogers ISD said it will soon provide more details on its website, and will schedule a series of informational meetings. More information and a dedicated website will be available in the coming weeks, the district said.
