Laredo to hold bond election in May for key city projects

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - For the first time in 32 years, the City of Laredo will hold a bond election, allowing residents to vote on important city projects.

At a special City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, council members approved a total of $417,050,000 in bond projects after hearing from the Bond Referendum Committee. The approved projects will be included in the bond election on May 3, 2025, with early voting from April 22 through April 29, 2025.
