Lufkin ISD trustees approve $140.25 million bond proposals for May election
Proposition A details
Proposition A would provide $98.2 million for district-wide improvements, including:
$65.4 million to renovate the high school
$21 million to build a Career and Technical Education facility
$3.5 million to build an agricultural barn
$3 million for new school buses
$2.5 million for district-wide safety and security improvements
$1.75 million for elementary school safety and improvements
$1 million for roof repairs
