I was an artist who wanted to eat so I went back and got a second degree and became a teacher and I had to monitor EVERYTHING! I tried to teach art in my regular classroom and have the degree to do so. CA has no money for the arts in public schools so I had to create my own lessons or the kids would not have any art at all. I had to be soooooo careful or I would get fired. I remember I had to keep my own art books out of the classroom since they had "nudity" in them and the students could discover my "teachers library". It is such BS since some of the kids were already having sex in 6th grade but their parents were half of the problem. They need to focus on the source of their issues and be realistic. The US is overly Victorian and hypocritical as far as art/nudity is concerned.
