Sound Transit Annual Service Plan for 2026
Overview
Sound Transit’s Annual Service Plan sets priorities for upcoming service changes. Every year, Sound Transit service planners analyze routes based on ridership, performance trends, and other criteria to guide service modifications or additions.
Sound Transit prepared the 2026 Service Plan to account for upcoming Link light rail openings and future changes to ST Express bus service.
Final ST Express Service Proposals
We are proposing some changes to our ST Express routes that would simplify the network, capitalize on regional investments in high-capacity transit, and improve regional connections.
Sound Transit’s engagement team received over 8,000 survey responses and comments in eight languages from last year’s engagement. We considered all feedback when developing the ST Express bus service proposals.
