Scott Morrison and his friends can do whatever they like.

"So it turns out Scott Morrison and his little friends can do whatever they like. What a shock.

"The law! It sounds like a good idea, but is it? Is it just being used to reinforce existing power structures rather than deliver justice? Yes it is.

"Of course things would be much worse without the law - or would they? If you want to find out what having no law is like, take a quick squiz at the federal government!

"How does lawlessness work these days? However it wants! Whether it's giving millions to mates' sporting clubs in exchange for votes , whether it's using forged documents to smear a political opponent or leaking super top secret information to further your hugely racist political agenda, everything is up for grabs without scrutiny or accountability."

You're not alone, friends in Trump's America. We have a system very like yours. So much so, it's quite scary. Take a look at the latest in the cartoon series from First Dog On The Moon, telling it like it is, in Australia, in America, and in the U.K. too. Which makes you wonder how much of this is brought to us courtesy of Rupert Murdoch and the power our politicians have given him?

is that so many people really don't care. They're not interested, nothing to do with them at all.

Makes you realise how the Nazis got away with what they did - because people weren't interested if things didn't affect them directly, as Pastor Niemoller said so beautifully, "When they came for me, there was nobody left to speak up for me".

1/3 don't watch the news or follow politics.

They don't know what is going on.

1/3 are brainwashed beyond redemption.

They think Trump was appointed by God.

They want the turn the U.S. into a Christian Theocracy controlled by corporations.

1/3 know what is happening.

Half of the 1/3 that know what is happening are fully on board.

The other half of the 1/3 that know what is happening are trying to stop it.

The good guys are definitely in the minority.

That is what we are up against.

So he won't act on climate change, because God decided we should have bushfires, and we mustn't interfere with the will of God. He truly believes that, hence his indifference to what happened this summer, and will happen again next summer too.

A man who can't keep his personal beliefs, wacky or not, out of his political judgments shouldn't be in the job. There is supposed to be a separation between church and state, but Morrison and co. ignore that.

One of our politicians took a snowball on to the Senate Floor to show everyone that

climate change is a hoax.

Another said god promised he wouldn't destroy the earth again.

Others say god put the earth and animals here for us to do with whatever we want.

Others say Trump was appointed by god.

Same shit different decade in this country.
