(2,450 posts)It's not that bad, I don't sweat it if I don't get every hair.

(11,862 posts)get a robot vacuum and let it fly...you do need to clean it, but it will do the job as you do other jobs.
I have the rumba, two dogs and a cat...(my dogs are no longer with us :0( )
They work!

(18,219 posts)since I haven't used very many different kinds, but this is what I have and it works really well with my two cats (one of them is a Persian who sheds in clumps all year long).

I got this one because I wanted a canister and I had decided that I wanted a bagless since I went through so many bags that were constantly full. It is sort of a pain to dump the container, but that may be because I wait too long before I do it, but it is easy enough to clean. It has a great tool for getting pet hair off of furniture, and it works so well.
I know that it doesn't have the greatest reviews, but I went with higher reviews last time I had to get a vacuum, and got one that was cheaper, but it barely worked for me and didn't last long.
