IPad experts please help

My Ipad is about 3/4 years old, works great. I use an ATT Cellular account to connect to the Interwebs. But none of that explains why lately my IPad only loads about 3 entries while I use Facebook. Plus (Apple) wants to update to be able to sync to a smart phone. I still don't have one of those. Just looking for ideas. Should I reset? (I did and nothing changed) ,go to the Apple store or maybe one of you has experienced this same thing? All other sites I surf on the IPad (including this one) work well. I'm stumped..........

1. Update to the latest software.

Then do app updates afterwards. The software updates also contain carrier updates.

Delete and re-add Facebook if that doesn't work. (after updating the software)

You can also do a backup/restore/restore backup through iTunes if the above doesn't resolve your issue. This can help with a "buggy" device.
