Looking for AntiVirus Software Recommendations - TIA
I currently have Kaspersky but want something else. I've heard of PCMatic, Mcaffe and Symantec? Is there one that's better than the other?
Thanks for the feedback.

It has the smallest footprint and does a satisfactory job.
Add a Malwarebyte sub to it and you should be good.

(30 posts)I recommend eset.com - It's a lean program. Not bloated. It installs quick. I've installed it 100's of times for my clients.

Their CEO was removed by Putin during the election furore and I don't know why.
Ghostery is good for removing advertisers and trackers but it's not an antivirus. MacAfee
in combination with Windows AV is fine for home systems. I dumped Symantec years ago because it made the computer run like shit when it updated, and it updated a lot.

My recommendation is Avira, also use Malwarebytes....

(17,235 posts)Bitdefender Total Security. You can find discounts for both products. Don't cut corners on Security Software specially in these times. Do your updates each and every day.
