Trouble with Location

PC running Windows 10, latest version

I've been traveling in Europe, but am not back in the US.

Problem is, that many of the services keep on thinking I'm still in Europe.

I've cleared the cache on my browsers, made sure that Region and Location in Windows is set to the USA, but still when I use google or Amazon or several other things, I get that I'm in Romania or Sweden or someplace else.

Anyone have any ideas how to correct this?

1. Your post is a little confusing

If you're not in the U.S., why did you set the Region and Location to the U.S.? Or is that a typo?

Try a complete restart. That often works for me.

3. Oops

The danger of writing a post before I'm fully awake.

I am now back in the US.

I did a complete restart, flushed the browser cache, flushed the DNS restarted the computer, made sure that the location in Windows 10 was set for my local area, did a "where am I" which showed I was in my home, and still am having trouble with location in many sites.

I've even tried a VPN with the location of California.

I'm baffled.

2. Your location is heavily biased by your IP address.

IP addresses are distributed geographically. Depending on whose network you are connected to, the city might be off but the country should be correct.

4. VPN Might Be A Solution.

Use VPN to overcome to resolve this issue.
