How can I transfer the voicemail of a dear friend who suddenly passed away
three weeks ago? I have an I-Phone and don't even want to "update" it, for fear of losing the precious voicemail.
Thanks and Happy New Year!

I usually seek help with Apple questions at their web site. Another option is to take it to an Apple store and get help with an Apple genius.
Here are the web directions from Apple:

4 year old grandkid knows more about electronics than i do....if your phone has a recorder, my android does, you can try to play and record.
You can also plug phone into a lap top or desk top and copy the phone files then start lokking through folders for recording.
