Touchpad *sinking*? ----

The laptop is on a small table with wheels. The surface was not completely level and I adjusted the support/legs. Yet now seems like the touchpad that I thought used to be FLUSH with the rest of the keyboard (not the keys) is "sinking"? or has "sunk"?

Not visible in the pic, but the edge with Arrow A is actually the one lowest. The machine is only a few months old and I think the problem (if there is one) started from the unlevelness of the table. Now yesterday there *was* some kind of episode where the cursor froze, and the screens froze at full BLUE and then BLACK, taking very long to respond, also very long to find a way to Power Off. And when the episode was over, things were working. But just now somebody told me their phone carrier went out yesterday, so maybe there's some kind of event?

Will the hardware crap out? Tia

They've always looked like your picture.

Look for the tag with the HP model number on the unit there, then google it to see pics.

two keys that make it even less flush.

(Instead of left&right keys, my touchpad has specific areas on the pad itself to touch.)
