When/why did search with Google Images become search with Google Lens?

Last edited Sat Nov 20, 2021, 09:54 AM - Edit history (1)

I just noticed it today, when I right click on a photo to see where it came from, or for similar pix.

I don't like Google Lens search.
Can I get 'search with Google Images' back?
thanks

But --> when I right click on a photo to see where it came from, or for similar pix
I now get Google Lens instead of Google Images.

Seems like that's a browser feature. I.e. in Safari there's no such entry when I right-click on an image. In Chrome (under MacOS) there's a "Search Google for Image".

If it's changed, I suspect your Chrome has been tweaked.
