My 'tablet' flips me to Yahoo when I do a Google search. WTF!?!?!

I do a google search and for whatever reason I end up getting switched to Yahoo. What have I done wrong?

1. What browser??

In android Firefox you can set the search engine .... that is the only one I use but others should be abut the same for those choices.....Settings/Search

2. Amazingly, or puzzlingly, Google Chrome browser!

Even went into 'settings' and it all says 'Google Chrome.'
Drives me nuts!!!

If your default search engine(Google) keeps changing to Yahoo suddenly when you traditionally use Chrome, Safari, or Firefox to surf the web, your computer is likely afflicted with malware. 6. Malwarebytes has a free one for home use

You can download it free and use it to check for viruses.
I've had it for several years.
Easy to use and no cost.

Google Malwarebites and look for the free edition

8. That's what I use.

Works fine on both the Apple iMac desktop and the ASUS laptop.
