Microsoft has a new Photos app & it is good.
My wife just got a new old windows 10 PC-exact one that I've been using even same supplier. It has some newer software as standard.
The new Photos program is at the Microsoft store free and it is named just that-Photos. They had dropped it from W10 at first and I was unaware it had been replaced. The old one they dropped was good-I think this one is better.
For me the magic was it took an array of various folders & put them all in a fairly good chronological order.
I had crashed 3 PC's and had to load all my old photo's from disc's & various hard drives. So it was scattered in multiple stacks of photo's. I'm just glad I was able to save it & have a backup hard drive now.
But being able to see-find all the old family photo's easily is a really great thing for me and I wanted to share.
