Question: I have a power pack that will not hold a charge.

Is there a shelf life on these things? I plug it in for several hours and it doesn't renew. There is no indicator except a lifgt next to the plugins. I'm not a tech or anything I have it to keep my phone working when I'm not near a plugin.
