Whichever it is, you probably need to reboot it. It sounds like the signal is getting scrambled before it reaches your computer. Not likely a problem w/computer hardware or software, to best of my limited expertise.

I did the unplug and wait an hour and replug and it didn't seem to restore everything. I get certain websites like this one, but when trying to open others I get the timed out message. As if the issue is on the other end. Like from my credit union? Weird...........

1. Backup your files
2. Backup your passwords
3. in browser — after the backups, clear history, caches, web data
4. you might want to install an ad blocker or 2
5. and change your DNS server settings to Google DNS
6. and shutdown computer
7. and shutdown router
8. go make some fruit smoothie
9. turn on router and wait 30 seconds
10. turn on computer

I am a little confused by this, Is your television connecting to your router or to your computer? Are you casting from your computer to your television?

Who is your internet provider? Which browser are you using?

Try searching for your Issue on DSL reports, that website has a great deal of very knowledgeable people.
