2. Their system for recovery doesn't work

I've been locked out of my Hotmail account for almost a year now, mostly due to the authenticator app and as far as I can remember a circuitous form of logic requiring me to enter things that I can't enter unless I have access to other things that I don't have access to. After you go through all that you get a message saying it'll take 30 days for them to help you. Problem is, the help never comes. Never.

Luckily I only used Hotmail for subscriptions and junk mail.
