1. You have to go to Settings, then Mail, then Accounts, then Add Account.

There you can enter the mail server (e.g., Gmail) and your password.

Have had to troubleshoot a Chromebook and Google/Gmail/login for the Chromebook were the same thing. So was the Gmail app on the iPhone. Change the password for Google account, also need to update on the iPhone. Maybe something like that.
