Certain apps on my iPhone no longer work when using NordVPN.

When I switch to Tracker Protection as a VPN those apps do work. Anyone else have this experience? I assume it means that NordVPN provides more protection, so I hesitate to stop using it.

Are those apps reliant on your location? A VPN will hide your location.

I never give access to my location. Would that mean Tracker Protection provides that information?

one region or another (e.g., sports)... Others just program it to reject working with VPNs. I have to turn it off when I use them.

I think that could be considered expected behavior, or at least there’s info saying some apps might not work properly blah blah. I recently switched to ExpressVPN and I’m interested to find out whether those same apps work or not.
