REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

I just want this to go to admins, if jury wants to hide for the objectification and probable shit stirring, that would be fine, but I know it is Friday night.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Fri Mar 14, 2014, 10:34 PM, and the Jury voted 1-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I wholeheartedly support philately...and yoga pants.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I just had a brain aneurysm from trying to figure out why this was alerted. I am dead now. Thanks a lot alerter.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Agree with alerter. Also: Advocating violence against specific person.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Oh the horror. The horror.

That manages to not make sense in, like, four different ways simultaneously.

I also like how alerter sort of made a preemptive it-couldn't-possibly-be-cuz-it's-a-lame-alert excuse for the presumed jury verdict with "it's friday night"... Yeah, the real CRAAAAAAAYZEEEES come on DU on friday night, donchakno!

Not like the serious serious harumph harumph serious Monday Morning Workaday DU crowd.

Except..... if the Monday Morning Workaday Serious people are so Monday Morning Workaday serious, what the are they doing on DU?

not that long after the female to male ratio starting to pass the 55-45 mark. The sexual dynamic on the modern college campus would make most men of older generations green with envy. The women are now the peacocks not the men, and I am more then happy to enjoy their displays of reproductive fitness.

I live just off campus, I can look out my window and see....4-5 people
wearing them now.

I don't know what it is, but I seem to find that most of the people
who wear yoga pants are the ones I don't think should, and it's the
ones who don't that I think ought to be wearing them.

I know, terrible and appalling that I would express a subjective
preference for physical attractiveness. Such a brute!

Yoga pant, Uggs, and North Face fleece jackets...like it's a uniform
for the sororities. I'm a grad student though, no one I have classes
or contact with really dresses like that. Not that I'm paying much
attention.

(Unrelated, but found out a few weeks ago sorority houses aren't
allowed because of anti-brothel rules. Now that is outrageous.)

That poster hasn't posted in the MG in the last 10 months and was PPR'd 4 months ago. The chances that poster is going to see your reply are pretty slim and I'm not sure why anyone else would care at this point.

As such the topics discussed should adhere to the SOP. Now certainly not all posts do as that standard is loosely enforced, but I just don't see any purpose to your post other than the attempt to stir something up which by this point is a bit late to the party. It just seems strange you'd want to resurrect a 10 month old thread just to gravedance on a poster that was gone 4 months ago. Did you have some sort of issue with that poster?

They aren't that much different than the full length cycling pants I wear in the winter, but I just can't see wearing them for anything but the purpose for which they were designed.

I was recently suspended for suggesting our middle age single men head to NYC and attempt to seduce newly single Amy poehler. The science of what gets hidden and what gets dozens or hundreds of recs at du would make an excellent sociology thesis. Political discussion about how to make the party and country better has been completely overwhelmed by vanity threads. It's devolved along with the party since 2008. I cancelled my auto renewal and my star will disappear soon for the first time since stars were available.

In case you didn't notice, yoga pants might be the most wonderful thing invented in the past twenty years. The yoga pant alone has delighted more people than the iPhone and perhaps provided more joy than chocolate or your Aunt Edna. (It has, however, probably caused more car accidents and possibly some divorces. And babies. Many, many babies.)

I am a male too. I have several pair in fact. Even a pair of purple ones. I don't care. I got them cheap and unisex clothes have been around for years and years. If they're comfortable, then it's for me.
