My name is Jordan and I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2012, and as an immunocompromised worker, I vocally fought against Amazon policies that threatened the safety of me and my fellow workers. That fight led to the creation of the Amazon Labor Union. My termination by Amazon, while I was on medical leave, was a clear act of retaliation for my successful union organizing.
When Amazon fired me, they took away my health insurance, even though I am currently in need of dialysis and a kidney transplant. I am asking this team to support my Go Fund Me and make sure I am able to afford the healthcare I need. Please make a contribution today, any amount helps >>

Stories like mine are sadly not unique at Amazon. While there were plenty of available jobs within the company I could have been reassigned to, this pattern of hiring and firing protects their bottom line and keeps a revolving door of employees to undermine our efforts to unionize.
Amazon has a history of targeting workers with medical needs and pro-union sensibilities, firing us en masse. These illegal firing sprees put a target on the back of all employees with disabilities or involved in organizing efforts.
I am still fighting for justice as I organizes with the Congress of Essential Workers alongside ALUand I need this community to show up for me the same way I have shown up for us. Please chip in and share my Go Fund Me today.

Thanks for your support. Amazon may have the means but never forget that workers hold the power.
