American Airlines Flight Attendants End Contract Talks Without Agreement, Prepare to Strike
Contract talks end as American Airlines management fails to present an economic package addressing the current economic environment
EULESS, TX-- (June 20, 2024) Today, contract talks between the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) and American Airlines ended without an agreement, moving 28,000 Flight Attendants one step closer to a strike.
After years of bargaining, including almost a year of mediated talks with the assistance of the National Mediation Board, and despite the Unions best efforts, American Airlines did not come to the table with an agreement that adequately compensates Americans 28,000 Flight Attendants, said APFA National President Julie Hedrick, a career Flight Attendant.
