CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. —
More than 1,400 nurses and health care workers at Chambersburg WellSpan could walk off the job next week.

The union is set to vote on Tuesday on whether to go on strike, as contract talks stall and the hospital continues to experience severe understaffing.

Health care workers and WellSpan leadership will negotiate Monday before the vote.

Negotiations between the two groups have been happening for seven weeks.
