Memphis, Tenn.—Today, the FedEx Master Executive Council (MEC), represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), reported that 83 percent of FedEx pilots voted in favor of a new collective bargaining agreement. 98.5 percent of eligible pilots participated in the voting process.

This agreement follows an extended bargaining process that included both direct negotiations and mediation under the National Mediation Board.

“This ratification concludes a nearly five-year negotiation process and reflects the collective decision of the pilot group,” said Capt. Jose M. Nieves, chair of the FedEx ALPA MEC. “FedEx pilots remained engaged throughout negotiations and participated extensively during the review and voting process.”

The agreement addresses multiple areas of the pilot contract, including compensation, retirement, scheduling, work rules, and job protections.
