The odd forest fire, possibly.

Price of progress, you know.

Already harvesting solar power, just from the surface of the Earth.
Is it progress if you want to put the solar panels out in space?

...implications of launching stuff into space, as well as the consequences of cluttering space with vast amounts of materials.

It was a bad idea in the 1980's, the 1990's, the 2000's, the 2010s and remains one in the 2020s.

It's not quite as disgusting that someone has done this as Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, but close. It would be a tragic disaster on a global scale were this delusional crap to go commercial
