Ukraine Wants Peace Russia Wants Ukraine - Econ Lessons

Hi, my name is Mark, and I am an Economist. Here, I examine Russia as it continues to reject a real ceasefire. Despite global calls for peace talks in Istanbul, the Russian president—whom some see as the modern "czar"—will not attend. Instead, a powerless delegation will be sent, signaling that Moscow has no intention of ending the war on just terms. Ukraine, by contrast, has agreed to attend, with President Zelensky willing to negotiate. The contrast could not be clearer. Only the Russian leader has the authority to stop this war, and by staying away, he shows the world Russia’s true intentions.

If we care about peace, stability, and human dignity, we must support Ukraine in its quest for a just and lasting peace. Share this message, pray, and stand with Ukraine.
