Actress Rose McGowan came out as a registered Republican on Twitter.
McGowan, best known for her work on the TV series Charmed and the film Grindhouse, tweeted that she is a registered Republican in California.
She said that she hates Bill and Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, so she would rather know what evil Im getting.
This is about WWIII, so none of that shit matters anyway, she concluded, probably referring to the assassination of Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani earlier today.

(2,187 posts)When I find out an actress/actor is a Republican and/or likes the GOP/Trump, I honestly cannot stomach to look at or watch them anymore. I will never watch Pamela Anderson or Scott Baio again, never listen to Ted Nugent or Kid Rock, will never buy a My Pillow - all because these people like Spanky. It's stomach turning and I cant get past it. Rose supporting the GOP is just as bad, IMO.

(9,689 posts)Supposed to be good and sounds like a show Id like. But the star Patricia Heaton is a known Repug, so forget it.

(10,278 posts)... if a Democrat acted like Donald Trump, I'd have no trouble voting against him/her! I'm guessing Rose thinks Democrats want to take away her wealth/lifestyle... but to use "hate" and "evil" may signal deeper problems.

(16,454 posts)Why all the hubub? Is she not entitled to her own opinion?
Why does the political opinion of this celebrity enrage you and the political opinion of that random republican voter over there does not?
Could it be that the real origin of your anger is that you hold her, a female celebrity, to a higher standard than ordinary people?
Where is your outrage about Jon Voight being a Republican? Tim Allen? James Woods?

(2,187 posts)I personally don't hold her to a higher standard. But when a famous person gives their opinion on politics and other matters, people who read/hear of them will form their own opinions on what was said. And I also will never watch James Woods, Susan Sarandon or weirdo Jon Voight's movies ever again either. Anyone who comes out and says they like Spanky Spank-Me-Now, or any other member of the traitorous GOP, automatically turns my stomach. If these famous people didn't want judgements on their personal beliefs, they should've shut up and said bothing6, especially in this political climate. Being famous doesn't make ya smart.
