This is absolutely horrifying. A 900 page plan for a complete fascist takeover.

A coalition of powerful conservative organizations have put together a 900-plus-page playbook that maps out their strategy to enact a sweeping "Don't Say Gay" policy that will eradicate queer and trans lives and destroy democracy, if given the power. We can't let them.
Most people arent aware of Project 2025, or its playbook, Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promisebut you need to be. In stark terms, Project 2025 reveals the conservatives plan to enact a sweeping Dont Say Gay policy that will effectively blot out all LGBTQ content on the internet as well as any published material with LGBTQ content, no matter how benign.
Project 2025 is a coalition of prominent conservative organizations that includes the Claremont Institute, Alliance Defending Freedom, Family Research Council, Hillsdale College, Heritage Foundation, Freedom Works, American Legislative Exchange Council, American Principles Project, and dozens of others. The organizations goal is to lay out a first 180 days agenda for the next administration, and to recruit conservatives to fill positions within the federal government appointed by the executive branch.
The Mandate for Leadership is a 920-page document that details how the next Republican administration will implement radical and sweeping changes to the entirety of government. This blueprint assumes that the next president will be able to rule by fiat under the unitary executive theory (which posits that the president has the power to control the entire federal executive branch). It is also based on the premise that the next president will implement Schedule F, which allows the president to fire any federal employee who has policy-making authority, and replace them with a presidential appointee who is not voted on in the Senate.
The document is basically a wish list for social conservatives and mega corporations. The business wish list calls for eliminating federal agencies, stripping those that remain of regulatory power, and deregulating industries. The president would directly manage and influence Department of Justice and FBI cases, which would allow him to pursue criminal cases against political enemies. Environmental law would be gutted, and states would be prevented from enforcing their own environmental laws.

(39,811 posts)The organizations listed are puke inducing. No champions of liberty and Justice for all. Their intention is to use freedom to destroy it. A billionaires wishlist. Which begs the question, why do billionaires need wish lists?
Lets avoid, they came for the constitution and I did nothing.

Those organizations have worked against our country for decades, and funded a lot of the garbage that brought us 1/6.

(39,811 posts)Justice is slow. But if there are any organizations that should be investigated for giving aid to the enemy it is the ones involved in those 900+ Pages. We should be fortunate the 900 pages are public. As a veteran I am apoplectic.

(5,749 posts)These fascists have been reeking havoc for centuries, justice is moving very slow. Smedley Butler understood it all to well.
I feel like we've got to this point here in our country, because this country values corporations over people, even if these corporations are traitors.
Roosevelt arrested chairmen of the boards with the national guard, when corporations were not wanting to act in the best interest of the country. Our Constitutional power gives the executive branch the power to take the business away. The Sherman Act gives the power to break them up.
We need this before we can really move forward. Monopolies are the ongoing threat to Democracy.

Not voting for Republicans is only a start. Americans must actively vote to keep them from winning any offices they run for. And not just for one election cycle, but each and every election cycle.
The Republican path does not lead to freedom.

(10,397 posts)The whole LGBTQ community get fucking armed. You want your rights? Fight to til you die. Sorry to say the only way to crush this evil is to use violence against violence. Get armed and be prepared to fight if it comes to that. I sure as hell will die fighting than die giving up
