The homophobic Buttigieg cant win comments

Another election cycle another year of being told to wait by democrats. They claim he cant win but provide no proof of the matter. It's par for the course and it's extremely tiering to try an educate our fellow democrats of both the harm of that and it's untruth.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer have the strongest approval rating among Democrats of the potential running mates for Vice President Harris if she, as expected, becomes the party’s 2024 presidential nominee, according to a YouGov poll released Monday.

In the poll, 59 percent of Democrats say they strongly or somewhat approve of Buttigieg, compared to only 14 percent who say they disapprove. Whitmer — who has said she is not being vetted as a VP contender — received 50 percent approval, compared to only 13 percent who say they disapprove.

Polling suggests that Buttigieg may be the favorite among voters. New polling released by ABC News/Ipsos on Sunday showed Buttigieg with a higher favorability rating than other Democrats reported to be on Harris' shortlist.

Buttigieg was viewed favorably by 29 percent of respondents, with Kelly coming in second at 22 percent. Following them, Governor Gavin Newsom of California was at 21 percent and Whitmer was at 20 percent. Shapiro came in at 17 percent.

The survey included 1,200 respondents and was carried out from July 26 to 27. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

A new Quinnipiac University poll finds that 70% of voters (including 86% of Democrats and independents who lean Democratic) say they are open to electing a gay president.

Is it just me or is Buttigieg the best polling Democratic candidate in every swing state except Michigan (where Whitmer is the Governor)?

They aren’t going to take any unnecessary chances. If their numbers say he’s the best they’ll pick him. Especially bc he’s ready to be president on day 1 and that’s the real test.
The people that wouldn’t vote for him bc he’s gay wouldn’t vote for him anyway. That’s my opinion. But they’ll have the data and I trust numbers more than my opinions.
