Thank you, irisblue, for posting this. Stonewall has been on my mind last night and today. So much of the LGBTQ+ history needs to be remembered to appreciate all we do have today. I've been thinking all night and this morning about sharing a video I recently recorded about the Oct 1987 Second National March on Washington. Tommy and I were there. That's the day we became activist. If I do post it here, I hope you will watch it. Thank you!

Dear irisblue,

I've decided to come back to your post. Frist, THANK YOU, for taking the time to acknowledge Stonewall Remembrance Day! It really did change the world!

I just replied to sheshe2's post about trans rights. I think both of these post should be in GENERAL DISCUSSION. The fact that so few have even bother to read either post, let alone the few rec's you two have received does not set well with me. I know I'm not quite myself right now, since Tommy's death but the irritation I feel that such a momentous moment in LGBTQ+ history can be ignored on a progressive site just floors me!

LGBTQ+ issues, rights and historical dates should be in GENERAL DISCUSSION. Our Rights are Human Rights and that includes our historical celebrations and achievements. Its funny how the NEW POPE was all the rage and not marginalized to a culture/alliance forum.

irisblue, Thank you again for your post and letting me vent. I hope I didn't mar your post. You're doing great, keep it going!

May You Be Healthy, Safe and Happy AND LOVED!

Thanks for this, irisblue.

I just cross posted my OP to GD, I don't know why I didn't post it there in the first place.
