I thought we were allowed to talk about hosting issues here...

This discussion thread was locked by Neoma (a host of the Feminists group).

So why is the host locking any thread that dares to criticise what she did today when she sacked every other host and locked our thread that was electing a new host? What was done was totally wrong, and imo, they should undo the damage they've caused by reinstating the hosts and stepping down. DU's supposed to be a place where democracy is a concept that's embraced and admired. What's happened here is the complete opposite....

They do not have the same powers as DU2 moderators did.

No one in their right mind, could think this is ok. Unless, they are here to fuel flames and get a kick out of it.

btw, a suggestion for neoma because I'm sure she'll lock this thread too. Instead of just locking threads that have every right to stay open, such as the election thread, how about actually engaging us? This whole lack of communication and the attempt to be a firm but fair arbitrator by being all silent just isn't how a host should act, imo...

not allowing the people in this forum to resolve our issues. too many people participated in mob rules refusing to allow reasonableness to be a part of the equation for a week, now.

and good morning to you
