Bent Brains Not Penises

Warning-Actual anatomical names used. (Snark)

Republicans want no Sex Ed. They want parents who can't say breast, vagina, or penis to teach about wee-wees, boobies, and vajayjay. For crissake.

Then they want no birth control. No maternity leave. No abortion.

BUT, commercials about fixing bent dicks are okay. Floating bent carrots twirling in space telling us to go to 'bentcarrot.com' is okay.

For f**k's sake. Does anyone in power and advertising have brains?

taught by none other than the football coach. Nothing was off the table.

All forms of birth control, reproduction, gay sex, transvestitism, masturbation, symptoms/treatments for sexually transmitted diseases, and more. And we had tests! And they were difficult to pass. First class, the coach announced to us that he knew half of us were already engaged in sexual behavior and that his job was to make sure none of us got pregnant or picked up a disease inadvertently.

One of the best parts of the class (besides getting out of gym) was Current Events. We were charged with finding news articles having to do with sex. I remember feeling like a herald when I brought in an article about an Oregon wife who successfully prosecuted her husband for rape. (Remember, this was 1974 and there was a prior expectation that wives had to "submit" to their husbands.)
