And if/when it happens what will the date be applied? Nov., 2025?

1. They will mess around the edges

These guys like to push drastic things to hide other things and to make them look good when they "save it". But the expanded medicaid is another story.

2. Hard to say.

Another poster upthread mentioned Medicaid expansion, and I can't forget how much the nazis love making rules that people on Medicaid must either work or volunteer work in exchange for it.

3. The strategy is to implement as much of Project 2025 by EO as they can in the first 180 days.

Rescinding the ACA regulations and subsides is on the P2025 hit list.
Gutting HHS while trying to grab its funds, with or without congressional
consent, is a plausible game plan, however unlawful.

4. They tried to do it in his first administration when they brought the tax penalty down to zero.

Everybody thought that would kill it, but it didn't. It turned out to be pretty resilient.
