A nice surprise.
Slumberland at Netflix. Jason Momoa plays against character in what I thought was going to be familytime drivel but kept me comfortably watching for two hours. It explores some deep topics throughout a fairly light story.
Add to that it was a nice escape from the news.

Of course he is much too young for me, however..... Without hesitation Yes! I could easily watch and enjoy 2 hours of Jason Mamoa in just about anything he would be in (and I have!). I've put it on my To Watch list! Thank you!

(3,862 posts)I'm a big Sci-Fi fan, but for some reason, Stargate never did it for me. (I was more of a Star Trek fan, and I think was watching Star Trek Next Generation around the time that came out). Somehow, I just never got into Stargate.
So now you are saying that Jason Mamoa was in Stargate?? WHAT? Now I'm going to have to watch that (and I have LOTS of Time these days as I figure out forced Early Retirement).
So, I like to see things from the beginning generally. I kind of know what the general story line is. I think there are a LOT of Seasons.... Can I skip forward to where Jason is in it? Any advise? Did he come in later in the series?
Wow... Jason Mamoa stuff I haven't seen. I'm in!
