Lawmen: Bass Reeves episodes 1-2 just dropped on Paramount Plus
Another Taylor Sheridan tour de force with strong story telling, action, acting and cinematography was a joy to watch for me. Worth the price of admission if you don't subscribe already.
And a review if you'd like:

(106,296 posts)The situation with Yellowstone seems as though the fans will be sorely disappointed in the final few episodes, but I have to admit the prequels and spin-offs thus far have been well done.

(7,118 posts)just for this series. We watched 1883 when it was available on plain Paramount and had wanted to see 1923 as well. We thought 1883 was excellent but literally could not finish one episode of Yellowstone. We tried more than once. I can handle awful people in a movie or series but there has to be someone you find appealing. We could not find that person on Yellowstone.
It was hard to believe the same person created 1883 and the soap opera that Yellowstone appeared to be.
