Who's excited for the return of Severance?!?!?! I sure am!!!!

I just rewatched Season 1, to make sure I remembered everything.

Turned out, I did remember it pretty well, but still really enjoyed the re-watch.

I'm so jazzed that early reviews are extremely positive!!!!

1. It got better as the season progressed. Do you know if season 2 will be released weekly or all at once?

There's a similar movie, though different in storyline called Vivarium. I think it might be available on Apple. I saw it on Netflix as I remember.

7. It is the farthest from garbage. Adam Scott is a great actor, and the rest of the cast is great also.

I've only seen maybe 5 or 6 titles from his IMDB page, I've never been impressed by his work. His work is at best average.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

17. I hadn't heard much about it until a few months ago, but I recently got to watch season 1 and it's fantastic

If you have an opportunity to see Severance, I recommend you do yourself a favor and try checking it out. It's safe enough as shows go; if you dislike it, you can stop watching any time with no permanent damage to your psyche.

The set design and camera work are enough to set it apart, with the exploration of oppressive liminal spaces unlike any I've seen in a streaming series before. The story is gripping, I don't know who told you otherwise but I disagree. Did you notice the 8.7 rating at the IMDB link you posted? Shows don't just get that high of a rating as a gift. Severance earns its bars.

but I’m going to have to rewatch the last couple of episodes before I start the new season. I wish there wasn’t a 2 year break between them.

but couldn't understand what was going on. So I too am watching S1 over again. I just watched the episode where Helly's innie got up on stage and told the audience what it was really like to work on the severed floor. At the end of the episode there was a recording of Mose Allison starting to sing "Your Mind Is on Vacation", but the recording was soon interrupted. Here are the lyrics:

You're sitting there yakkin' right in my face
I guess I'm gonna have to put you in your place
Y'know if silence was golden
You couldn't raise a dime
Because your mind is on vacation and your mouth is
Working overtime
You're quoting figures, you're dropping names
You're telling stories about the dames
You're always laughin' when things ain't funny
You try to sound like you're big money
If talk was criminal, you'd lead a life of crime
Because your mind is on vacation and your mouth is
Working overtime
You know that life is short and talk is cheap
Don't be making promises that you can't keep
If you don't like the song I'm singing, just grin and
Bear it
All I can say is if the shoe fits wear it
If you must keep talking please try to make it rhyme
'Cause your mind is on vacation and your mouth is working
Overtime

And here is a performance:

I'm sorry, but I about died at ORTBO. If I was still working, I would start using that immediately. I can honestly use it to describe some of my corporate experiences in the past.

So I didn't even define what it means, making it even less of a spoiler. Let's just say you'll know it when you see/hear it.

Season 1 episode 3 now. I keep seeing how much people love the show. It's very interesting, but love is a stretch considering how distressing it is.

We're sticking with it though.
