I've been watching this fun little show about a christian utopia
called The Handmaids Tale...
Im blown away, such a powerful well done series.
And a great cautionary story also, god forbid the fundies ever take over.

If you haven't read the original novel, it's worth it. The TV show pretty much goes beyond the novel with the 2nd season.

(5,170 posts)The end of the book is a lot more ambiguous about the fate of June than I think the series will be.
The second novel is three narratives: Aunt Lydia and June's two daughters. Which is cool because one is an inside narrative and one outside. Plus I am only 50 pages in and Aunt Lydia's character is going to run deep.
