This is gonna sound strange,
On DU and this forum.
And old high school buddy contacted me yesterday and said he was, in town. Wanted me to " show him the sights"
I didnt feel like going out, he pushed and pushed. I got real close to breaking down and going.
I had a thought, called my MAGA neighbor and told her the story, I said " Sharon, I don't feel like going out and drinking, this guy is pushing me. My car key is on the porch, please come get it, and give back to me Sunday." Told my bud, I lost my car key and had to wait for replacement.
Sharon texted me back, and said, " i got it"
Sometimes, we just need to lean on people.
