Keto Pizza (Fathead Style Dough)

Preheat oven to 400F


1 1/2 Cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

2 ounces of cream cheese

2 Tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese

3/4 Cup of almond flour (I have a loyalty to almond flour so I'm not sure if the measurement would be the same for another type of low carb flour such as Psyllium Husk Powder or Flaxseed Meal)

*Optional* I generally add a teaspoon or two of garlic powder right before microwaving "the dough".

*Optional 1 egg at room temperature* Omitting the egg makes the crust a tad more crispier so it's not going to break the crust by leaving it out but it changes the macros.

Pizza sauce and pizza fixings of your choice!! My favorite sauce is marinara and I spoon just enough marinara sauce to cover the baked pizza dough. I don't measure it at all.


Place the shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese and grated parmesan cheese and whatever seasonings in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave about 20 second intervals until it starts resembling pizza dough. Mix well in between intervals.

Add the egg and knead.

Add the flour and knead until the dough isn't sticky.

Shape the dough and pierce the dough with a fork to prevent bubbles. I put a piece of parchment paper into a 8" cake pan and will shape the pizza dough using the cake pan. I keep the parchment paper under the dough and transfer onto a baking sheet that fits into the broiler for later.

Bake the dough 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.

Once the dough is baked and brown, add sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice.

Place in the broiler until the cheese is melted or bubbly brown.


*Side note* I have also made this pizza in the air fryer in the hot summer months.





Sometimes I'll add 1/2 cup more of shredded mozzarella cheese to the recipe and I'll shape breadsticks, make some precuts in the dough, pierce with a fork, add small pats of butter and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and garlic powder.




Basic dough recipe with egg: 6 slices: 210 calories, 19 grams of fat, 11 grams of protein and 2 grams of net carbs.
