A friend brought me some pizza AND carrot cake! With cream cheese frosting. I have been wanting carrot cake for so long!

I am making a salad with honey mustard dressing to go with it.

Soda to drink, unless I can get some kombucha bottled up.

Mug of hot tea to go with the carrot cake.

1. leftover pizza. I met some friends at our favorite Italian place and ordered a large pizza

so we would have leftovers for today.

This place is owned by some staunch Democrats and the food is good.

2. Chicken noodle soup

Made with leftovers from one of those big honking chickens from Costco.

3. Leftovers from veg Thanksgiving

Veggie quiche, mashed potatoes,dressing, sauerkraut , cranberry sauce. All frozen after being made.

4. Leftover meatloaf, green beans and carrots.

Cookies and glass of milk before bedtime.

5. I made pork and beans

Soupy, cooked in a pot. I put the leftover pork from Friday into the pot, and it was perfect for today.

6. A burger and collard greens w/bacon & hot sauce. Hot decafe tea

Maybe it's just that I love cream cheese frosting.

8. Tuna crostini

I did a take on the avocado toast and tapenade variations. Yeah, crostini are really appetizers, but two of each kind, plus two slices of baguette with cheese, were quite filling. My son contributed a mixture of bok choy and collard greens, sauteed and sweet-sour-spicy flavored.

9. Roasted chicken

Full bird with gravy, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Chardonnay.

Craft chocolate chip cookies.

10. Falafel Croquettes

Oven baked homemade falafel croquettes drizzled with a tahini lemon sauce. Steamed broccoli and mushrooms in a mustard sauce and air-fried sweet potato nuggets. Left over apple walnut cake for dessert. Cheers! 🥂

Seared salmon filet with cajun accent rub.

Spanish rice from Far East mix

12. Pan-European potpouri

Braised cabbage with apples and habanero-chorizo sausage, because the place I did the shopping has great produce and dairy but a limited selection of everything else, and a frozen Trader Joe's Greek cheese pie.

13. Did you know you can actually make sloppy joes

TOO sloppy??? I didn't, until tonight. Geesh! I knew I was short on hamburger, but I didn't expect a soup (LOL). Supper was a fail, IOW. But I do have a cherry pie to slip into the oven right now. That should make everything okay!
