1. Not sure, but I have often wondered the same thing!

2. To me,

Simplicity is best,, after all, it's a chick salad. A bit of mayo or . MW like 2 tbs,one spoon of sweet relish and a half spoon of raw onion,for crunch.
Spicing comes from my chicken, I just don't drown it out with the dressing.

3. Mom's was the best!

Although it's turkey salad I remember my mother making, I think the perfect chicken OR turkey salad includes both dark and light meat. The dark adds a bit of deeper flavor that really makes it delicious.

6. The grocery store does, well, not the store, the people. You can add extra chicken to stretch it out.
