A large garden salad with hard boiled eggs and vinaigrette.
Hot decaf green tea

There might be more later. Perusing the easy options, maybe a grilled pepper jack cheese on pumpernickel or a BLT.

added some onion and garlic. Made a wrap with cheese and a little ranch. Spicy avocado on the side.

Graham crackers and peanut butter dipped in whipped topping for dessert. Lazy peanut butter pie

I have always had trouble figuring out what to cook the week before Thanksgiving.

7. Bacon, Egg & Cheese Quiche with Mixed Green Salad

The star of this quiche is the bacon, which brings a smoky and salty element to every bite. The egg base is light and fluffy, with sweet caramelized onions and a layer of melty white cheddar cheese to add indulgence to the quiche. All of that goodness is surrounded by a flaky crust and served with lightly dressed mixed green salad to cut through all that richness.

(OK but not great, looking forward to dessert later, Nutella Hazelnut Crunch Cake in a Jar, layers of moist chocolate cake and luscious Nutella mousse, which are perfectly complemented by the irresistible crunch of hazelnut. Wish decent ice cream were available!)

… but not bad—a can of minestrone and a grilled PB sandwich on dark pumpernickel to dunk in it. I think last night I fell asleep before I could figure out what I was hungry for, so this is an improvement, if a little weird.

A new place opened nearby so we decided to try the pizza baked in large industrial trays! They had vegan cheese so we were in luck. We ordered a half sheet so we have leftovers for lunch today. The pizza was great, thick crust, slightly sweet sauce with mushrooms and onions. Cheers!🥂
